What the Complete Replacement Included

The existing deck was removed before the replacement was built with new framing, decking, stairs, fascia, and railing. Treating the project as a full rebuild made it possible to carry the same finish across the home’s different access points and elevated sections.

Trex Lineage in Jasper

The documented finish uses Trex Lineage composite decking in Jasper. Picture-frame perimeter boards, fascia-wrapped edges, and hidden fasteners keep the long walking surfaces visually consistent from the entry platform to the rear deck.

Connected Stairs, Walkways, and Cable Railing

Composite stairs and extended walkways link the deck areas around the sloped, wooded yard. Black posts and stainless steel cable railing define the elevated edges while preserving an open view through the railing.

Enclosed Storage Below the Deck

The project also included rebuilding the enclosed storage area beneath the south deck section with T1-11 siding. Integrating that enclosure into the rebuild keeps practical storage below while the deck and walkway remain usable above.

The Result

The completed project combines several access points, stair runs, elevated spans, and a storage enclosure into one cohesive exterior system. The repeated decking, fascia, and cable-railing details help the different sections read as one finished build.
