Broad Steps and Finished Edges

Wide composite steps create an easy transition between the deck levels and the backyard. Picture-frame borders, fascia-wrapped edges, and hidden deck fasteners give the walking surface a cleaner, more finished appearance.

Open Cable Railing

Black powder-coated posts and stainless steel cable railing define the elevated edges without visually closing off the yard. The dark frame contrasts with the gray-brown decking and ties the different deck areas together.

Planning for the Space Below

The documented scope included a Trex RainEscape drainage system beneath a western section of the deck. Planning that drainage within the deck assembly helps protect and organize the area below without changing the open appearance above.
